Measure axial length with speed and accuracy
The Tomey AL-3000 is designed for fast, easy operation.
Equipped with audio-assisted measurement capabilities, it emits
a series of beeps as soon as the probe is aligned and the
measurement is recorded. For operator convenience,
measurements may be taken automatically (hand-held or using
a chin rest) or by pressing a foot switch.
The AL-3000 measures axial lengths ranging from 15-40 mm
with an accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm and a resolution of 0.01 mm.
Eye modes include normal, aphakic, pseudophakic and dense
cataract. For maximum precision, the AL-3000 calculates the
average value of up to 10 measurements. Measurements may
be acquired in either contact or immersion mode.
Calculate IOL power with an array of formulas
The AL-3000 calculates IOL power using five of the most popular
formulas: SRK II, SRK/T, Holladay, Haigis Standard and Haigis Optimized. The AL-3000 can also display up to three lens
constants and the corresponding IOL powers, enabling surgeons
to develop effective strategies for future surgical procedures.
